The Watertown Unified School District extends its sincere appreciation to all staff members retiring this year. We thank them for their dedication to our schools, and for working so hard to make not only our classrooms, but our community, a better place.
Today we recognize retiring staff member Lora Konz for her 26 years of service to the WUSD. Thank you, Lora, we wish you all the best in your retirement! 💙

The annual Freshman Experience will take place at Watertown High School on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2026, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. This event is a great opportunity for incoming freshmen to become more familiar with the high school building while learning about courses, extracurricular activities, and athletics. Incoming freshmen will tour the school building in groups led by high school students.

The annual Art Walk organized by the Watertown Arts Council and the WUSD Art Department returns to downtown Watertown on Wednesday, May 27 from 4-6 p.m.! This fun, family-friendly event showcases student artwork from across the district, as well as professional pieces created by local artists, in dozens of storefronts downtown. In addition, community members are invited to "Chalk the Walk" by creating chalk art along Main Street sidewalks the day of the event.
