Our #WatertownWay LEAP Leopards participated in Mindful Friday as part of their Summer Countdown calendar, so they asked yoga instructor, Rachel Scott, to come in and lead each class in a yoga session. It was a great way to unwind during a busy end to the school year!

This is just a reminder that Dr. Jarred Burke, the last of three WUSD Superintendent finalists, will be available for a candidate forum tomorrow, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in-person in the WHS Media Center and via Zoom at https://isn.zoom.us/j/89084440843 or by phone at (312)626-6799 (Meeting ID is 890 8444 0843). This session will provide an opportunity for families, students, staff and community members to meet Dr. Burke and ask questions.
The forum will be moderated by representatives from Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, an education consulting firm hired by the Board in April 2022 to assist with the Superintendent search. Following the forums, the Board will interview each finalist again. The Board hopes to select a candidate in mid-June, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2022.

These #WatertownWay safety patrol members had a great time at Springs Water Park. They worked hard everyday to keep their schoolmates safe and proved to be dedicated to their academics to earn this reward! Way to go!
Mrs. Kowalski's #WatertownWay class is counting down the days to summer break by popping balloons! Last Thursday's fun activities included going to the park and coloring, playing with chalk and a participating in a scavenger hunt!

It was a beautiful day for Mrs. Soldner's #WatertownWay class to take a walk on the Brickyard Nature Trail yesterday! Students used their nature books to see if the could identify animals or insects along the way! We are so thankful to have this amazing trail in our community!
