Who's up for a game of Kin-Ball? These #WatertownWay RMS Panthers are! The object of Kin-Ball is simple: to score more points than the two other opponents and win the game. Players do this by working as a team against the two other teams. A great deal of teamwork is involved in Kin-Ball, and our RMS Panthers worked together and had a blast!

Last week, LEAP Elementary students had a visit from author, Stef Wade, who came to read and discuss her books Q & U Call It Quits and A Place for Pluto. Afterwards, the students were able to ask her questions about being an author, were given the opportunity to give suggestions for possible future book ideas and had the opportunity to purchase any of Stef Wade's books and have them signed by her.

Students in Mrs. Godfroy's first grade class at Schurz Elementary had a great time discovering the answer to our science question this week - "Why don't trees blow down in the wind?" These Schurz Tigers started off with umbrellas to see if they blew over from the wind created by Mrs. Godfroy. Then they turned their umbrella into a tree to compare it and see how easily it would be knocked over. Having fun the #WatertownWay!
