Last Friday, #WatertownWay students in Mrs. Soldner and Ms. Nankey's 2nd grade class at Schurz Elementary made a fun "Foodie Friday" snack. Those graham cracker rainbow weather snacks look delicious!

These #WatertownWay 2nd and 3rd graders from Lincoln STEM Elementary are taking a brain break with STEM bins and putting their imaginations to work!

Our WUSD staff want you to have an amazing weekend! See you on Monday to kick off our last four days before Spring Break begins on Friday, May 25!

These #WatertownWay 4K students had fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day today! š

Happy St. Patrick's Day from the WUSD!

Gaga Ball anyone?
Gaga Ball is a game that combines the skills of dodging, striking, running and jumping while trying to hit opponents with a ball below the knees. Players learned to keep moving to avoid getting hit by the ball. Third, fourth and fifth grade students have been enjoying learning and playing the game, and finding out it is a serious workout! Our Webster Wildcats want to thank the City of Watertown Park & Recreation Department for borrowing them their Gaga Pit!

In collaboration with Watertown Family Connections and Safe Families for Children, the WUSD is proud to present The Power of Positive Parenting Seminar on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Watertown Public Library. Please join us for this free event!

Our #WatertownWay second graders at LEAP Elementary went outside to practice for March "MATH"ness! March "MATH"ness is a fun and friendly competition between these students as a way to get better with their math facts - which starts on March 21 of course!

March 14th marks Pi Day! We hope all of our #WatertownWay students, staff and families get a chance to sharpen those math skills and eat some delicious pie today!

Mirror, mirror on the wall, thereās a leader in us all! Congrats to these #WatertownWay Schurz LEADERS!

Thank you, Mr. Strobel, for bringing a special visitor - a two-week old lamb - to visit our #WatertownWay Webster Wildcats! We learned so much and had a lot of fun too!

These #WatertownWay sixth grade RMS Panthers recently built a maze in Mrs. LaDew's media center, sharpened their science skills with Mrs. Travis and shared in read-aloud time with Mrs. Fremont! #adayinthelife

Our #WatertownWay third graders at Douglas Elementary are learning all about weather and climate. They had a special visitor, Drew Burgoyne of CBS 58, present today all about severe weather and safety. Thank you for inspiring future meteorologists today, Mr. Burgoyne!

Mrs. Godfroy's first grade class recently finished up their nonfiction writing unit and celebrated by getting to share their writing pieces with their 4K friends! The room was set up like a museum and our #WatertownWay 4K students could stop by the writing topics that they were most interested in hearing about. It was an awesome experience that provided the opportunity for Mrs. Godfroy's first graders to be great role models and teachers to our youngest learners. Way to go, Schurz Tigers!

Warmer temperatures are coming our way - we hope š, but in the meantime, these #WatertownWay Webster Wildcats are happily building snowmen with what's left before the thaw!
