There are four seats available on the WUSD Board of Education, with six candidates appearing on the ballot:

Grade 2/3 students at Lincoln STEM Elementary got in on the March Madness fun with their annual Math Fact Shoot-Out! The top students in each classroom went head-to-head against each other in the championship while their classmates cheered them on! The winners in each grade level won a basketball signed by their classmates! How fun! #WatertownWay

We were so fortunate to have author Mary Tellefson visit Lincoln STEM last week! She is a teacher and author who works with blind/visually-impaired children. She came to do a presentation and simulation workshop. Students wore blindfolds to see what it what it would be like to have a vision impairment, and also took turns being guides. Thank you, Ms. Tellefson!


Our incredible #WatertownWay RMS Panthers recently raised $1,020.00 for the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund through a friendly Penny War House Competition! A big SHOUT OUT to 7th graders Alexis and Leilah for all of their hard work in putting this together! #RMSGIVING


Our Webster Wildcats sure had a #WatertownWay day of fun during physical education class last week! The amazing Ms. Alwin set up various stations throughout the gymnasium so students could participate in all kinds of activities! It's a favorite gym day for our young movers and shakers!

Last week, students at Webster Elementary enjoyed lessons and fun with Speed Stacks. They worked on sequencing, hand-eye coordination and quickness. They were even patient enough to build a giant tower with amazing teamwork! Way to go, Wildcats! #WatertownWay


Our #WatertownWay REACH 18-21 Transition Program students, along with students from Mrs. Timmel and Mrs, Smithās classroom, had the opportunity to learn information about personal banking, credit and debit cards, online banking, and other informative financial information from the Bank of Lake Mills - Watertown Branch. A big THANK YOU to Sharilyn Zimmerman and Bridget Van Ert from the Bank of Lake Mills for being guest speakers!

Douglas Elementary students celebrated meeting their class goals with a GLOW Party last Thursday! We love to celebrate the achievements and teamwork of our #WatertownWay learners! "Dream Big, Work Hard, and Believe in Yourselves"!





The Watertown Wrestling Club has qualified seven wrestlers for the youth state tournament in Madison! These #WatertownWay middle school wrestlers have been working very hard and their coaches are extremely proud of them - and so are we! Good luck at the tournament!

We are getting ready for Spring Break by having a little fun this week! Here's one of our amazing #WatertownWay staff members participating in Hat Day at RMS. That pink flamingo hat sure has us thinking of warmer temperatures!


Recently, the #WatertownWay World Languages department at Watertown High School wrapped up its celebration of Foreign Language Week with the induction ceremonies for both the Spanish Honor Society and German National Honor Society. New members were welcomed into the clubs and they discussed events that were held throughout the school year.

We were excited to welcome back former WHS teacher, Mrs. Mullen, who recently visited Endeavor Charter High School as a guest speaker! She helped us celebrate Womenās History Month by telling stories of some of the norms for women in the 1950ās and 1960ās. Wednesday, March 16th was National Panda Day, and our #WatertownWay students and staff at Lincoln STEM celebrated all week in a BIG way!
Panda research was done, panda books were read, panda artwork was created, and panda cupcakes were decorated and eaten! The whole school also participated in a panda trivia contest - with Mrs. Atkinsās class winning!
It gets better - check this out! š The students participated in a Pennies for Pandas service project where students brought in their change all week to raise money to donate to the pandas at the National Zoo in Washington D.C. They raised an incredible $804.74 and for every $100.00 raised, a staff member got pied in the face Friday afternoon.
