3rd and 4th year German students learned about the Brothers Grimm and their collection of fairy tales before reading a number of the original German versions. As they read, they took note of fairy tale characteristics and how they differ from other children’s stories. As a final project, they wrote and performed their own fairy tales in German, incorporating many of the fairy tale elements they had discovered.
The Watertown Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring its 12th Annual Winter Open Indoor Track and Field Meet on Saturday, March 4th. The Watertown High School Visual Arts Classic team took 1st Place at the Carroll University Regional last Saturday. They also won 1st Place in the Art History Quiz Bowl and brought home 12 Individual First Place Ribbons for their artwork. The team will advance to State at UW Madison in April. WHS Baseball Coaching staff will once again be hosting a Spring Tune-up Clinic.

#WatertownWay 2/3 classes at Lincoln STEM took their informational writing to the next level by developing a driving question for research, organizing their research into informational books and then creating a project to showcase their learning.
Their families were invited in Friday after school for a Gallery Walk to view the impressive work they accomplished!
