On Friday, May 17, Sr. Kleine's Watertown High School Spanish Texts and Composition students traveled to Schurz Elementary School to read the children's stories they authored and illustrated to Sra. Dresser's and Mrs. Bethke's Dual Language Kindergarten students. The books were a final project for the class' Literatura Infantil (Children's Literacy) unit in which they studied the positive effects of reading to children, aspects and characteristics of children's literature, and read the famous children's story "El Principito" (The Little Prince). Both WHS and Schurz students greatly enjoyed each other's company!

Enrollment for the WHS Freshmen Experience is now underway - all incoming freshmen are highly encouraged to attend this event on August 13, from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Watertown High School.
The Freshmen Experience is a fun, transitional opportunity for all incoming 9th-graders.
