To wrap up their cooking unit, WHS Spanish 6 students completed recipes in Spanish and walked into class on Friday to find that they were actually making (and eating!) 5 different dishes from the Spanish-speaking world. A great way to wrap up the week!

All of our WUSD 5th Graders and their teachers experienced a Kindness Retreat with Youth Frontiers last week! Check out these pictures from this impactful day. Kindness is the #watertownway! Shout-out to WHS for hosting us, and to our amazing high school students who served as group leaders for the retreats!

It's only February, but everyone should mark their calendars for Saturday, May 4, which is the date of the WHS Junior Prom and Post Prom. Both events are open to EVERYONE at WHS. More details will follow in the coming weeks.

A reminder that the window for 4K and 5K enrollment is now open! More information can found at https://www.watertown.k12.wi.us/page/enrollment-and-registration.

10 donors needed! Donate blood at the Riverside Middle School blood drive on February 10th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and receive $5 off your order at Cousins Subs as a thank you for donating! Use the QR code or link to sign-up: bit.ly/wsdfeb24.
Did you know that each blood donation can help save potentially 3 lives?? Not only are you giving back to a local WI patient in need, you are also helping your own body! Donating blood has many benefits such as burning between 600-650 calories, improves cardiovascular health, and lowers the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and cancer.
