Community Survey Responses Due Nov. 17
A community survey to gauge voter support for a potential spring 2026 operational referendum for the Watertown Unified School District has been mailed to area households over the past two weeks. The survey, coordinated by School Perceptions, asks voters for feedback regarding their support of three different operational funding levels for the school district. District voters are asked to return the paper survey or complete it online by the end of the day Monday, Nov. 17.
Voters living within the school district boundary who did not receive the mailed survey, or who wish to request an additional copy for another voting-age member of their household, are invited to call Lynn Linskens at (920) 262-1460 ext. 3202 or email linskensl@mywusd.org. Thank you for sharing your opinions with us through the survey, and for helping us continue to honor our tradition of excellence, while embracing the innovation and transformation needed to prepare learners for the future. 🍎

WHS German Honor Society members and guests gathered at Amado's Restaurant for November's "Stammtisch." In German culture, a "Stammtisch" is a gathering of a small group at a regular time and place. We gather at various local restaurants to speak German in a casual setting. Speakers of German of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us! Our next Stammtisch will be on Wednesday, December 3rd, location TBD. For more information, contact German Teacher Mrs. Schneider at schneiderk@mywusd.org.

Watertown High School and Endeavor Charter School hosted an educational, emotional, and memorable Veterans Day Ceremony this morning in the WHS fieldhouse. The morning began with a breakfast for veterans and a mail call, where veterans read thank you cards sent by WUSD students. During the ceremony, students witnessed the presenting of the colors, Watertown FFA officers talked about the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance, local elected officials gave short speeches, and students learned about the The Wall - an 80% scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall that is being installed at Aero Park in Watertown.
It was a GREAT day to be a Gosling!
