Watertown High School held a Pep Assembly Friday morning to honor Flight Feather recipients, to recognize winter season athletes who competed at State, to celebrate attendance milestones and more.
WHS's Flight Feather program provides staff and students with the opportunity to recognize other staff and students for going out of their way to do the right thing or by completing an act of kindness for someone else. So far, 637 Flight Feathers have been submitted this school year for a drawing. Students whose names were drawn included Carson Lindeman, Karter Zimmerman, Nohra Good, Gillian Mihalko, Sophia Tolfa and Sophia Gonzales. Staff winners were Kelley Piasecki and Eric Kleine.
Another special recognition that occurred Friday was the send-off of the Special Olympics Basketball Team - Galaxy - featuring WHS student Alex Wuestenberg and other WHS alumni. The team played at the State games in Oshkosh this past weekend. Go Goslings!
Tradition. Innovation. Transformation. #WatertownWay!
