These 3rd Grade #WatertownWay learners at Douglas are working their SEL muscles - focusing their attention, listening, turn taking, and respecting their partners while they listen closely to items that fit in a category.
During their Second Step lesson, Ms. Brunner’s students listened closely while their partners listed 3 holidays, 3 sports that had the word “ball” in the name, and 3 colors.
Listeners were challenged to store those answers in their memory and work hard to build those skills for learning!
Keep up the great work, third-graders! 👍
