Douglas Elementary had some excitement at their building on Thursday! A big THANK YOU to Watertown Fire Dept Engine 61 who came out to rescue two ducklings that fell into a drain in the parking lot.


These Douglas First Graders (and their teacher) are floating away with chalk art at recess!



The WHS FCCLA will be selling coffee and donuts to families and guests prior to the graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 10th. Then, please join them for a grill out after the ceremony to celebrate our graduates.


Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is coming to Watertown High School on Friday, June 2nd.


WUSD 2023 retirees were honored during the May 22nd Board meeting. This group of retirees were committed to the WUSD any where from 11 years to 38 years. This gave a total of an amazing 645 years of service. That's incredible! Let's give all of our retirees a #WatertownWay Shout Out for all they have done for our students, staff and families over the years. They will all be missed and we wish them well.

This week, May 14th-20th, is National Police Week. Let's give a huge #WatertownWay shout out to our Watertown Police Department for all they do for our community. Let us also remember all fallen police officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.


On Wednesday, Douglas Student Ambassadors were “Door Dash - Douglas Style” delivery people. From stocking orders to service with a smile, they delivered! Thanks to our parents, families and PTOs for supporting these fun projects this week!








Students at Douglas poured on the gratitude for Teacher Appreciation Week! From a "thank you note" table to Door Dash - Douglas Style, they were excited to show the Douglas Staff how much they appreciate all they do!

Our WUSD library media specialists and paraprofessionals work hard to offer students a wide range of literacy, STEM and technology programming at all grade levels. These 2nd Grade Authors in Miss Skumatz's class at Douglas were proud to share their realistic fiction with some special guests and peers during their writing celebrations. It was neat to see these writers use what they have learned about feelings, thoughts, and emotions through dialogue and GREAT descriptive writing in their stories! Way to go, authors!!
