Watertown High School
ACT ASPIRE Testing (9th & 10th Grade)
The ACT ASPIRE will once again be used at the 9th and 10th grade levels to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programming in Wisconsin public schools. The results of these tests will comprise a portion of our school and district report card and the administration of these assessments will take place on Thursday, April 14. As was the case last month with the ACT for 11th graders, it is our desire to create a distraction-free environment that is conducive to students performing at their very best on these important assessments. As a result, ALL WUSD 9th and 10th grade students will attend school on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Students in grades 11, and 12 will NOT have school on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Graduation
Graduation is currently scheduled for Saturday, June 11 at 10 a.m. and will take place in the WHS Fieldhouse. This will be a ticketed event for guests, with each graduate being allocated eight (8) tickets. Unused tickets will be made available to families who may want additional tickets. A google form will be emailed home to families the week of April 11 so families can request their tickets.
Graduation practice will take place on Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. Attendance is required if students plan on participating in the Graduation ceremony on June 11.
Prom
Mark your calendars for the junior/senior prom which will be held on Saturday, May 7! Prom will be held from 8:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. here in the WHS Commons, with the Post Prom to follow from 11:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. at the Elks Lodge.
2021-2022 Yearbook Orders
The deadline for ordering a 2021-2022 yearbook is quickly approaching. The deadline to order is Friday, April 22. No extra yearbooks will be ordered so please plan accordingly. https://www.yearbookordercenter.com/general/displayLanding (school order number: 3818)
