Referendum Approved

Dear Families, Staff, and Community Members,

Thank you.

Thank you for your support of our schools, our mission, and our vision. Yesterday’s operational referendum result reflects a community that believes in its students and the future we are building together.

We are grateful, and we are also clear about the work ahead.

While the referendum seeking $4.5 million per year for five years to fund district operational, instructional, and day-to-day maintenance expenses was approved by voters, the district leadership team and the Board of Education have been clear that budget reductions must still be made to balance the district’s operating budget. Every effort will continue to be made to lessen the impact of future budget reductions on learning and teaching. Our work will remain student-driven and data-informed, with a focus on what matters most for our learners.

Our leadership team and staff remain committed to working in close partnership with the Board as we carry out current policies and support future direction. We believe strongly in open communication, shared purpose, and collaboration as we navigate both the challenges and opportunities ahead.

In the coming days and weeks, we will share clear updates regarding proposed future budget reductions and next steps. We are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

Thank you again for your trust, your partnership, and your belief in our schools.
