Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is coming to Watertown High School on Friday, June 2nd.

WUSD 2023 retirees were honored during the May 22nd Board meeting. This group of retirees were committed to the WUSD any where from 11 years to 38 years. This gave a total of an amazing 645 years of service. That's incredible! Let's give all of our retirees a #WatertownWay Shout Out for all they have done for our students, staff and families over the years. They will all be missed and we wish them well.

This week, May 14th-20th, is National Police Week. Let's give a huge #WatertownWay shout out to our Watertown Police Department for all they do for our community. Let us also remember all fallen police officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Mrs. D's K/1 class recently had the chance to read with dogs at Lincoln Stem. We shared some books with the dogs and got some cuddles in as well. Such a great experience!

Last week was National Library Week! Our WUSD library media specialists and paraprofessionals work hard to offer students a wide range of literacy, STEM and technology programming at all grade levels. Lincoln STEM Panda Bots in Mrs. D's K/1 class have been learning about the structure and function of everyday items in PLTW. During this unit they created beanstalks to hold eggs, 3 little pig houses strong enough to withstand a wolf and paintbrushes that would paint in a special way.

The Lincoln STEM 4K is studying states of matter through our Project Lead the Way curriculum! They recently turned a liquid into a solid. Heavy cream turned into butter! It was delicious!

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is coming to Watertown High School on Friday, April 14th.

Grade 2/3 students at Lincoln STEM Elementary got in on the March Madness fun with their annual Math Fact Shoot-Out! The top students in each classroom went head-to-head against each other in the championship while their classmates cheered them on! The winners in each grade level won a basketball signed by their classmates!




Lincoln and Schurz 4th and 5th grade choir students took a field trip on Friday to the skating rink to celebrate all of their hard work during the school year. Superintendent Burke even joined them for a little skating fun!





Lincoln Stem celebrated National Panda Day. They participated in a panda trivia contest, decorated panda cupcakes, competed in a panda stem challenge, and had a visit from the panda mascot!






Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is coming to Watertown High School at 825 Endeavour Drive in Watertown on Thursday, March 16th starting at 2:45 pm and will be available until supplies last.
All attendees should remain in their cars. Volunteers will place the items in their trunk.
All WUSD families in need are invited to attend this event free of charge. This program provides healthy and nutritious foods, FREE OF CHARGE. Staple food items will be provided such as frozen meat, fresh produce, cereal, pasta, canned vegetables and more.
Limit one distribution per household.
