At its June 22, 2026, meeting, the Board of Education of the Watertown Unified School District (WUSD) accepted the resignation of Superintendent Jarred Burke, effective June 30, 2026.
Since January, Director of Special Education & Student Services Sarah Oudenhoven and Director of Innovation, Technology, Data and Strategy Jason Bull have served as Interim Co-Superintendents and will continue to do so while the Board conducts a recruitment process for the selection of a one-year, full-time Superintendent to lead the WUSD in 2026-2027.
