Justin Diderrich

Hello Watertown High School Community,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Associate Principal at Watertown High School. I’m incredibly excited to be joining such a strong and vibrant community and look forward to learning about the traditions and values that make Watertown special.

I was born and raised in Oconomowoc and have deep family ties to Watertown—many of my relatives grew up here. My wife has also been an elementary teacher in the district for over five years, so I’ve felt a connection to the Watertown community for quite some time.

My educational journey began at Kenosha Unified School District, where I taught Personal Finance at Reuther Central and Harborside Academy. After a year there, in 2015, I moved to Elkhorn Area High School, where I spent five years teaching World History, U.S. History, Economics, and Human Geography. I also served as the Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach during my time in Elkhorn.

Seeking a position closer to home during the challenges of COVID, I transitioned to Brookfield East High School in the Elmbrook School District. Over the past five years there, I taught Social Studies as well as AVID 10 and AVID 12, and I was actively involved on the AVID site team.

I am honored to be joining the Watertown High School family. Over the coming months, I’m eager to connect with students, staff, and community members. I’m always open to conversation and I am excited to bring a fresh perspective to the school. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or just to say hello—I’d love to hear from you.

Thank you,
Justin Diderrich
