Hello! My name is Justin Crandall, and I was born and raised in Fort Atkinson. My wife is from the Hustisford area, and with family living in Watertown, I’ve long been familiar with the community and am excited to now officially be a part of it. I earned my bachelor’s degree from UW–Stevens Point and my master’s degree from Concordia University.
I began my career in 2012 as a physical education and health teacher, as well as the head football coach, at Port Edwards. I became an athletic director in 2013 and have now been in that role for 13 years. During my seven years at Port Edwards, I also served as the head baseball coach and started the school’s golf program. In 2019, our family moved to Whitewater, where I worked as the athletic director until accepting my current role here in Watertown.
Outside of school, I stay busy with my two daughters—Chloe (12) and Mya (9)—and our 1-year-old chocolate lab, Jax, who keeps me on my toes. I enjoy golfing in my free time, and I’m a diehard Packers, Brewers, and Badgers fan. Starting next year, I’ll also be coaching Chloe’s travel softball team, which will keep me even more involved in youth sports.
I’m thrilled to join the Watertown District and look forward to getting to know our students, families, and community members in the months ahead.
