Here are some general tips for using your school device.

• A Google Chromebook has many helpful tools and features.

• You can use keyboard shortcuts to complete some tasks more quickly.

• Chromebooks managed by Watertown Unified School District will connect automatically to WUSD-CB WiFi when in range.

• Connecting to other WiFi Networks

• We are not able to fully support your home environment. However, Google does provide information about printing from home on a Chromebook.

Each room will be supplied with a limited number of “spare” Chromebooks and chargers.

• WHS students will bring any Chromebook needing repair to the Student Help Desk located in the Media Center during school hours.

• RMS students will bring any Chromebook needing repair to the Media Center.

• Elementary students will inform the teacher if their Chromebook needs repair. (Please do NOT send students to the Media Center for help). Teacher will put in a work ticket and promptly place it in the blue bin located in the Media Center. All elementary Chromebooks will be repaired at WHS and returned to elementary media centers. While waiting for the Chromebook to be repaired , please use a "spare" located in room.   Media center staff will return the Chromebook to the appropriate student.
