Spring 2024 School Board Election Information

Election Date: Tuesday, April 2, 2024

The following candidates, listed in ballot order, will be on the spring ballot on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Voters will vote for three candidates. The term for office for the three newly elected School Board members is three years, beginning Monday, April 22, 2024 and ending Sunday, April 25, 2027.

The following School Board Member terms will be expiring Sunday, April 21, 2024

The term of office for the three newly elected School Board members is three years, beginning on Monday, April 22, 2024, and expiring on Sunday, April 25, 2027.

School Board members who plan to run for another term need to complete the same required forms and follow the same timeline as new candidates.

School Board members who do not plan to run for another term need to complete a Notification of Noncandidacy This form must be returned to the filing officer at the Educational Service Center, 111 Dodge Street, Watertown, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023.

Are you interest in running for the Watertown Unified School District School Board?
All WUSD Candidates must complete and submit the required forms to the WUSD filing officer no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in order for the candidate's name to be place on the ballot at the February 20, 2024 Spring Primary (should a primary be needed) and the April 2, 2024, Spring Election. Candidacy paperwork is available at the Educational Service Center, 111 Dodge Street, Watertown. Links to the paperwork are also included below. The Watertown Unified School District does not require nomination papers for School Board candidates.
