Tina is from Luxemburg, WI where she grew up with her three sisters. Tina attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where she met her husband, Randy, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Spanish minor. Tina and Randy have two wonderful children, Katie and Jake, both of whom attend Watertown High School.
After college, Tina worked in non-profit with domestic abuse organizations for two and a half years out of college, and then moved on to a career in human resources - to include three years with Sussek Machine in Waterloo. Tina and Randy then started a family and Tina has spent the last 18 years as a stay-at-home mom while working part-time at the YMCA, serving as a substitute teacher and special education paraprofessional with the WUSD, and in customer service with American Family Insurance. Tina also started her business with Mary Kay Cosmetics where she and her team have earned many product sales awards and has been focusing on these efforts full-time over the past three years. She has been a Sales Director for 12 years helping others start their business and providing a success track to run on and guiding others in best practices to include customer service, marketing, product information, fiscal responsibility and team recruitment.
Tina is an active member of the Watertown community. She has served on the RMS Commons Project as an Action Team Coordinator, Confirmation Assistant and Sunday School Teacher for several local churches, Douglas Elementary School parent and PTO event volunteer, parent helper for Camp Invention promotion and marketing, Talent Development Focus Group parent representative, Board of Directors President for Gingerbread Preschool, Board of Directors Meet Director for the Watertown Aquatic Team and currently serves as an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce and the Lite Nite Hike Fundraising Chair for the Watertown Music Boosters.
Tina’s greatest joy has been being a stay-at-home mom - which has allowed her to be an integral part of her children’s growth and education. Tina is most known for her enthusiasm for life and positive attitude. Tina plans to bring her knowledge of the WUSD and willingness to listen to work together for the best educational experience for the students of the District. Tina believes that it is important for teachers, families and the community to work together in providing our youth with a solid educational foundation while maintaining fiscal discipline - contributing to a thriving community. Tina looks forward to taking her service to the next level and contributing as a WUSD School Board Member.
