GO RITEWAY STUDENT TRANSPORTATION
This form is required each year, even if your child was bussed in the last year, to ensure we have correct pick up and drop off information. Transportation forms are required to be completed by August 7, 2022 to guarantee routing the first week of school.
IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN IN YOUR FAMILY, YOU WILL NEED TO FILL OUT A REGISTRATION FORM FOR EACH CHILD.
Student Transportation Criteria:
Transportation shall be provided to all students that reside outside of the city limits.
Transportation shall be provided to all resident students living within alternative busing areas (i.e. hazardous). Below is a listing of pick-up points in these areas:
Boughton Street Apartments (3 pick-up points)
Deer Trail Park
Arlington Park
Grandview Park
Greencrest Drive
East Haven Drive
West Haven Drive
Timothy Johnson Park
Richards Ave/S. Concord Avenue
An adult must be present for the bus to drop-off students in 4K - 2nd grade. If an adult is not present, GO Riteway will attempt to call the parent. If someone cannot be reached, the student may be returned to the WUSD after the route is completed. Transportation services for a 4K-2nd grade student may be suspended or terminated should a parent or guardian repeatedly fail to be present at the designated pick-up or drop-off point.
There is a shuttle bus available for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5 for free of charge at each of the public school sites located in the City of Watertown. The shuttle picks up students at the school closest to the student’s home and then transports students to Watertown High School where students will transfer busses and be transported to the school that they attend.
There is also a shuttle bus available for students in Grade 6 to Grade 12 at each of the public school sites located in the City of Watertown. The shuttle picks up students at the school closest to the student’s home and then transports students to Watertown High School (WHS) where students would either go to WHS or get on the bus to Riverside Middle School (RMS). This service is called “Pay to Ride”. The cost per day is $1.00, must be paid in advance and must be paid for an entire semester or trimester - prorated from start date. Please fill out the bus form above and contact Cheryl Hollatz in at the Educational Service Center (ESC) at 920-262-1460 Ext.3217 or by email at hollatzc@watertown.k12.wi.us.
Please allow 3 business days for bus changes or new registrations for busing added throughout the school year to be processed and changes implemented.
Here Comes the Bus® App is available to parents of Watertown Unified School District students.
View the real-time location of your child’s bus, access the app from your smartphone, tablet or computer and receive push notifications or email alerts.
