WHS Local Scholarship Information
As you may be aware, there is a delay in the release of FAFSA, or the communication of financial aid information, this spring. The delay in the release of FAFSA continues to significantly impact decisions students and families are making around which college or university to attend in the fall of 2024.
Subsequently, this delay has also impacted the local scholarship committees ability to objectively evaluate scholarship criteria as related to school-specific scholarships. In the interest of using the most accurate information available to apply scholarship criteria, the Watertown High School Scholarship Ceremony has been moved to Monday, June 3rd at 7 p.m. in the WHS Auditorium.
Students and families are reminded that once you receive your FAFSA Summary from your college, please submit a copy to Ms. Pirkel in the Main Office.
We are extremely grateful for the incredible support the Watertown community provides through the many generous scholarship contributions and look forward to a fantastic ceremony on Monday, June 3rd. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and flexibility as we work through this issue.
