Josh has been the WHS Principal since the 2021-2022 school year. During his tenure at Watertown High School, Josh was an Associate Principal for seven years and also taught US History, Government, and Philosophy in addition to being involved with the Endeavor Charter School and the Varsity Boys Soccer Coach.
Before joining Watertown High School in 2011, Josh graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2007 with an undergraduate degree in Secondary Social Studies Education. Josh then taught social studies at Prosser Career Academy in Chicago Public Schools. During his time at Prosser, Josh also served as the Varsity Wrestling Coach and JV Boys Soccer Coach.
In 2011, Josh received his Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on English as a Second Language from National-Louis University in Chicago, IL. In 2014, Josh received a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Josh loves spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their two children, Miles and Eliza. He also enjoys soccer, fishing, and the outdoors. He is excited about students realizing their potential and is passionate about students finding ways to give back to their community.
