WHS Counselors

  • So you are aware, WHS Counselor Matthew Dunn will be out of the building for the remainder of the school year. We look forward to him rejoining our team this summer!  Bethanie Frommgen, Erikka Olson, and the rest of the WHS Student Services team have been working closely with Mr. Dunn to ensure there is as smooth of a transition as possible as we navigate the remaining weeks of the school year.   Mrs. Frommgen and Mrs. Olson will divide Matthew’s alphabet to support students on Mr. Dunn’s caseload as follows:

    • Bethanie Frommgen:  Students with the Last Names A-He, V-Z
    • Erikka Olson:  Students with the Last Names Hi-Pe, Pi-U

  • We know the end of the school year is a critical time for students as they finish their Third Trimester classes so please be sure to reach out directly to Mrs. Frommgen or Mrs. Olson if you have any questions or your student needs any support during the remaining weeks of the school year.  Thank you for your flexibility as we have a fantastic end to the school year!

Prom

  • Prom is Saturday, May 7 from 8:00-11:30 in the WHS.  The theme this year is Enchanted Evening, and it will be a great night with beautiful decorations and dancing.  The two junior and senior courts will be presented at 9:30 pm.  All students need to be in the prom by 9:30 pm.  Directly after the prom, students can go to the Elks Lodge on First Street. The post prom runs from 11:30-2:00 am and is free with your prom ticket.  If students are going to post prom, they must be there by 12:15 am, as there will be no admittance after that. The post prom will include a huge buffet of food, numerous games--from a ping pong and bags tourney to many casino games and giant Jenga.  Prize money can be won at many games. Beyond that, there will be over 100 door prizes for attendees, including an $800 Trek bike, TV, dorm refrigerator, microwave, numerous cash prizes, gift cards, and much, much more!  Tickets go on sale with the bookkeeper in the front office on Monday, April 18. Tickets are $25 per person, which includes admission to both prom and the post prom at the Elks Lodge.  Students can buy tickets until May 4 but don't delay--get your ticket ASAP--students will receive their ticket and wristband at prom on Saturday, May 7.
