Parent Update

Greetings Gosling Families!

The school year is already in full swing and we look forward to continuing to build on the positive momentum at WHS!  Please review the information below for updates this week:

WHS Homecoming 2021-22

  • Please review the homecoming schedule for next week! WHS has planned an outdoor homecoming dance and we look forward to a great event complete with heat lamps as well as a bonfire.  We hope to see a great showing from the Watertown community at the parade, Booster Club Tailgate, and football game!

  • Tickets ($15) for the dance will be sold in advance and any students planning on attending can pay the WHS Bookkeeper by Wednesday, September 22nd. Guests from other schools must complete a WHS Homecoming Guest Pass and will be allowed to attend pending a background check as well as compliance with all WUSD Safety Protocols.  We appreciate WHS families patience as we make every effort to ensure this event is as positive and safe as possible.  We look forward to a great WHS Homecoming week this school year!

Student Face Coverings on the Bus

  • Students are encouraged to bring their own face covering to wear on the bus.  A gentle reminder to all students riding the bus that the cloth face coverings distributed on the bus can be washed and reused.   Thanks for your support!

Accessing curriculum for students during absences

  • As we prioritize student access to curriculum during student absences we want to make accessing course material convenient for families. WHS has created a document using this link to assist students as they need to access each teacher’s course classroom (Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.) as well as communicate via email with their teacher.  In the event your student is absent for an extended period of time please be sure to use this link, also posted on the WHS website, to ensure they do not miss academic coursework.  Teacher emails are also directly included on the document so the information is readily available.  Please do not hesitate to contact your student’s teacher for additional clarification!
