Cross Country

Hello RMS parents and students!

Having fun, getting in better shape, being out in nature, gaining more determination, making new friends, improving mental prowess, and growing in confidence – all these benefits are available to your student.  Cross country is a sport that anyone can do and it can develop into a lifelong activity that can help lead to a healthy lifestyle. Yes, your child can join Riverside Middle School Cross Country!  All Riverside 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students are eligible to participate.

If you are interested in joining the team, please fill out the short Google Form linked here:

I have also included a link to a Google Doc that will provide you with some basic information about RMS Cross Country and also three different summer training plans that will help you to be ready for the season when we officially start at the end of August.

RMS Cross Country Basic Info 21-22
RMS CC Beginning Runner Pre-season Training Plan
RMS CC Returning Runner Pre-season Training Plan
RMS CC Advanced Runner Pre-season Training Plan

At this point all indications are that we will be able to conduct a season very similar to previous years, meaning traveling to other school's courses and competing against more than one other team at the meets!
