WHS Start Time to Change for

2014-2015 School Year

On March 24, 2014, a presentation was given to the WUSD Board of Education outlining a change in start time beginning with the 2014-2015 school year.  School will begin at 7:45 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  School will begin at 8:20 AM on Wednesdays.  These changes pave the way for the creation of a 45 minute collaborative period for teachers on Wednesday mornings.  Adding this time is specifically aimed at improving overall student achievement for WHS students.  More information will follow in our quarterly newsletter and via Skyward Family Access.  In addition, a parent informational session will be scheduled for those interested in learning more about these changes.  Please click the following link to see our full schedule.
