Hola! I am Mrs. Ebert. I have been teaching for WUSD since 2001. In the 2001-2002 school year, I was a part-time ESL paraprofessional while I was finishing up getting my teaching license. The following year, I got hired as a full-time ESL/Spanish teacher. I have held a couple of different positions at WHS and RMS. When I first started, I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) at both the high school and the middle school, and two different levels of Spanish at the middle school, 7th grade Survey Spanish and 8th grade First Year Spanish. I then taught First Year Spanish at the high school, and continued to teach ESL and 7th grade Survey Spanish at the middle school. Currently, I spend my whole day at the middle school teaching ESL, 7th grade Survey Spanish, and co-teaching in the 7th and 8th grade Communication Skills classes. I enjoy introducing students to other cultures and helping them to discover their abilities. Before I began my career in Watertown, I taught at a bilingual school in Mexico for two years, Escuela Internacional de Cuernavaca, in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. It was an awesome experience! I became fluent with the Spanish language and extremely familiar with the Mexican culture. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, biking, scrapbooking, and taking photos.
