Kent Jacobson - Principal

Kent Jacobson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire where he majored in Elementary Education with a Vocal Music minor. After teaching fourth grade and coaching multiple sports for two years in Onalaska, Wisconsin, he moved to Florida and taught at Madeira Beach Elementary School for six years. He attended the University of South Florida – Tampa and received his Masters in Educational Leadership.

Eager to return to Wisconsin, Kent began his administrative career in the Watertown Unified School District as principal of Douglas Elementary School in 1992. After four years in that position he transferred to Riverside Middle School where he is currently the Middle School principal.

Kent’s focus in educational leadership is designing a comprehensive program for middle school students. He stresses relationship building, character education and life long learning. He encourages students to take an active role in their own development as well rounded individuals.
 

Dyan Pasono - Assistant Principal

Dyan Pasono earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and her Master’s Degree in Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. 
 
Dyan began her teaching career in the Green Bay area where she taught special education students for the West DePere School District. After earning her Education Administration degree, Dyan began her school administrative career with the Southern Door County School District as a K-8 administrator in 1985.   She continued working for the Southern Door for the next 17 years until she accepted the position as Denmark’s Middle School Principal in 2001 where she worked until June 2010. 
 
Dyan and her husband “retired” in June of 2010 and moved to the Ixonia area in September 2010 to be closer to family. After trying retirement for a couple of months she decided to return to the education field and accepted the interim Assistant Principal position in November 2010 at Riverside Middle School.
 
With 25 years of middle school administrative experience, its obvious Dyan is dedicated to middle level education and thoroughly enjoys working with this age group as they begin their journey through adolescence.
